Even with the powerful (sometime troublesome) auto-correct dictionary of the iPhone OS, we tend to change our mind pretty quick. Maybe we want to rephrase the SMS, spotted an error, or decided not to send it after-all. But there’s no cancelation once you clicked the send button. Here’s a dirty trick that sort of works for me:

• While you still see the sending bar. Quickly press home, then lock button.
• When you return to SMS again, the earlier message should back to the editing/typing menu.
• If you still get to see the sending bar, press home and restart the phone.

There’s no guarantee this trick will work every-time, if you are on a good cell coverage, the SMS will be sent faster than you try to cancel it. So take your time to read what you typed before sending it to someone important
