When Google launch its web browser, the Google Chrome, they introduce the concept of multi-process web browser. Each tap on each window is its own process. Unfortunately as to this date there is still no official Google Chrome for Mac OSX.

The folks over had Mesa Dynamics had created Stainless, yet another Webkit based browser, but this time it has multi-process capabilities.

You can download and try it out but bare in mind this is just a technology demo and is likely to stay that way.

I’ve test it and it feels fast. It has the tab on top ala Chrome. However this is far from being your main web browser. It lacks bookmark features, middle mouse button does nothing and lack of a proper download manager.
