The mysterious “Brick” for holiday 2008
For those that follow closely on Apple rumors and upcoming product gossip might know that there will be a “new” product launching soon (November 2008). Although there’s no official announcement so far, but the rumor mils has been going nuts lately for many upcoming Apple products. The new product was given a codename ‘the brick‘. What do you think brick will be?
My take? A fusion of AppleTV & MacMini, a true media center Mac that run full scale 1080p HD movie. And conveniently Apple will announce 1080p movies purchase available in iTunes Store. But take it easy, I’m just speculating. What do you think ‘the brick’ will be?

Probably some new update of macmini and apple tv like you said, with bigger storage and full HD output for them. I wish mac mini update soon, since i was too lazy to build a pc and i heard a hackintosh isn’t really stable or easily heat up than my current macbook.

9 to 5 mac claims that the brick is actually a new manufacturing plant capable of cutting macbook shells from a single brick of aluminum, using lasers and water jets. that would mean seamless designs with little screws and shell assembly. sounds reasonable. still claims though..nothing solid.
