hi justin i’ve read in Gizmodo.com this article… Check out the Hong Kong Apple store online and you’ll see a couple of lines of text that’ll tempt, tease and beguile you if you’re dreaming of an unlocked iPhone 3G: “iPhone 3G purchased at the Apple Online Store can be activated with any wireless carrier. Simply insert the SIM from your current phone into iPhone 3G and connect to iTunes 8 to complete activation.” About $700 will get you an unlocked 8GB version, and the 16GB is just $800. Handy for the dev team, no doubt… wonder if malaysian can get these deal or not…..
i read that too. it says that it is strictly for hong kong addresses only. the only way to get it would be to have someone in hong kong get it for you.
I just got the 2nd gen Ipod touch but having problem to get it register with itune…anyone can help me with this??
john, do describe what problem you run into. We need to know more before we can help. Any error msg you getting?
Hi Wei,Thks for your response. The problem I am facing now is after I connect my Ipod to my PC, the Itune will not go beyond “software licence agreement ” page despite I have checked the checkbox and saved.
can anyone tell me where can i do laser engraving for iPod Touch? in Singapore they do it for free when purchase online with Apple Singapore. Any service like that in KL or Johor?
