New iPod prices
Looks like we don’t have to wait for the Apple media event next Tuesday to know the price of the new iPods. The media used to be able to get scoops like this before anyone else. It’s a totally different story now. Anyway, these prices are from machine’s homepage, so it should be reliable. So here goes.
iPod Shuffle

- 2GB: RM259
iPod Nano
- 8GB: RM599
- 16GB: RM799
iPod Classic
- 120GB: RM999
iPod Touch
- 8GB: RM949
- 16GB: RM1,229
- 32GB: RM1,629
My thoughts? I might be even getting an iPod Nano and show it off at Apple’s media event on Tuesday before they could show me theirs! The prices are really affordable and only the iPod Touch is more than RM1,000, the rest are sub RM1,000.
Some of the forummers from Lowyat.net claims that machines will start selling tomorrow onwards. I’ll try to drop by Mid Valley tomorrow and report back and if I am poisoned enough, I might show you guys some pictures too. Stay tuned.

Great news,.. I love my iPod Touch but am tempted to get the 2nd gen iPod Touch. I wish that a firmware update could make my ipod slimmer and has a speaker.

Anyway, I am kind of busy and stuck in the office right now. Anyone of you can confirm if machines is selling the iPods today?
I went to the Machines in Mid Valley today. Seems like the guy working there is one blur cock. He doesn’t even know the prices for the new ipods yet. He said the new ipods will be in stock in 2 weeks time. But I’m predicting it will be out by next week.

I called a few of the stores and they said the new iPods are not here yet. New estimations: it’ll be available on Monday.
If that’s the case, I’ll just wait for the Apple event on Tuesday, try the iPods out first, then decide if I want to get it or not.
The new price lights me up! I’ve contacted a salesguy (who helped me a lot when I bought my MacBook Pro back then) at Machines and he said the new ipods are already there.
I’m going to get an iPod Touch. 
i was at machines in the gardens and midvalley. the new ipods were not up on display but the sales person told me they have them in stock. also, i saw a few shops displaying the new nanos at the IT world place in midvalley.
i wanna to buy one iPod Touch 32GB for my gf as birthday present.. i called the Apple Malaysia and they said will be available last monday. i initially went up to KL to buy and guess what? not available yet… so sad.. now i’m waiting for it to be available in JB.
eerr… each time i ask every Machine salesman.. they always mention it will be in tomorrow. even some promise this evening… so, after i come back to the store the next day… the answer will be the same… hope if u could give any hint when it will come… i really appreciate it.. heheh TQ…
Is iphone 3g available in Malaysia? If its not, when is it coming?
Anyone know whether the new ipod touch is available in Kuching? If so, where as “switch” said only after Hari Raya !!
