No podcast for iTunes Malaysia

Ituneserror

I wanted to subscribe new podcast shows from the iTunes podcast directory, but I was not successful in doing so. All I got was a dialog box with the message: -

Your request could not be completed The item you’ve requested is not currently available in the Malaysian Store.

It was fine before when I have not yet registered to the iTunes Malaysian Store. I understand that the Music, Movies and TV Shows on iTunes Store are not available due to some non-cross borders copyright laws and such. However podcast are distributed freely across the Internet.

I think this is a bug in the iTunes Store.

You can add podcast feed manually by going to the advance menu and choose subscribe to podcast, then enter the URL to the podcast feed. But that is not how I wish to do it. I want to browse the podcast directory in the iTunes Store.

Anybody else have the same problem?

    Hi,

Or you just try changing the iTunes Store location / country from the main page of the App Store. The List or Icon is at the bottom of the page.

Yeah, its just plain inane not to add Podcasts with the App Store since most of them are free.

  5. I’ve used Miro, but it’s a long time ago. Do miro syncs with your iPod now? I normally watches and listen to podcast on my iPod.

Yeah changing the country and a manually adding the podcast feed works find, I’m just annoyed that Podcast directory is not avaliable to iTunes Malaysia.

  6. Davor made a simple Automator script that copies videos from your /Movies/Miro folder to /Music/iTunes/Music/Movies and then imports it into iTunes.

  7. Right now Miro does not allow direct syncing to portable devices. However, Miro will be working on this in future versions. In the meantime, you may be able to sync the video files themselves with a separate program.
