An iPhone 3G on Maxis
It’s true, no Photoshop! More pictures and the low down after the jump.
Today was a good day for me. Not only did I have a really productive day at work, but I also held a bona fide iPhone 3G in my hand. And yes, the iPhone is really on the Maxis network… but it’s not an iPhone that I got from Maxis.
The iPhone belonged to a client from Hong Kong. It’s actually on the Hutchison Telecommunications network but because he was roaming in Malaysia, the iPhone switched to Maxis while visiting my office.
Bottom line, gotta wait a while longer…
(Sorry for the bad picture quality, the only camera I had on hand was from my soon-to-be-discarded Sony-Ericsson).

Anyway, my brother got an iPhone 3G with Optus in Australia. I’ll see when is he coming back to Malaysia…hehe
A tip….iPhone is coming to Malaysia…but not with Maxis. News should be in the papers by mid August!!

i just heard that celcom got the deal for iPod 3G!!! YEAY!
hopefully its true! because if maxis got the deal i’m going to pay a hefty sum for it!
yeah.. hopefully celcom gets “ipod 3g”, n maxis gets the iphone 3g. heh
