Last week, a blog post on Adium developer blog regarding a new version of Adium that support video and audio making some buzz. Adium developer announced that a team was put together to begin working on integrating audio and video chat into Adium which requires cooperation of several people from both Adium and Pidgin (formerly named Gaim).
There is also a lot of changes will be made into Adium, hance Adium 2.0. It is not said when such version will me release. There are some screenshots posted together with the blog post.
Based on another more informative post answered some unanswered question. The new Adium will only support Leopard. They are planing for Adium to support AIM, Yahoo! MSN, XNPP (GTalk/Jabber) but no Skype.
