For the past few months I’ve wrestled with the question of whether I should buy Leopard and if it’s a worthwhile upgrade. Today it dawned on me the one reason I really need Leopard - Stacks.

I know it sounds stupid, but I need something that will help me regain control of my desktop and manage it for me by hiding away all my downloaded files.

In my humble opinion, Leopard isn’t a revolutionary advance in OS technology. Stackes, Spaces, Time Machine aren’t fantastically exciting or even really that innovative. Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is a steady evolution and that’s evident from its 300 new features with this release. They’re not big features, but little small ones that usually falls through the cracks. This means that Leopard will be a very polished OS and will help me be even more productive than ever.
