Vienna gets better with the latest update. Vienna is a good free open source alternative feed reader to say Newsfire or NetNewsWire. I have been using Vienna for as long as I could remember, and for as long as I could remember, Vienna wasn’t as good looking or a fast feed reader compare to the mentioned two but I still am using it, may be because I am cheap but I always like to say that I support the open source movement.

Anyway Vienna just got better with the latest updates. Some of the updates include major UI improvements, a more polished look but still not as fancy as say Newsfire. Buttons now moved to the toolbar. Feed auto-discovery, just enter the website URL and more.

If you haven’t given Vienna a try or may be you have a few versions back and toss it out, may be you could give it a try with this latest version.
