One year ago today, I officially launched myMacBUZZ. It was a fun experiment at the time, but it’s quickly grown into what I consider to be my 2nd job. And the reason is because of you, dear reader. Your support has led myMacBUZZ to a steady, albeit somewhat slow, growth over this past one year. I’m proud to say that myMacBUZZ is the only publication in Malaysia to exclusively provide Apple related content and that we are a leader in this space. myMacBUZZ now has over 150 subscribers via RSS and a further 50 via email. Traffic has steadily increased from 1,000 visitors per month to about 10,000 per month today.

Plans for the year

In this next year, I’m hoping to take myMacBUZZ to the next level and to get to level footing with some of the high-quality, medium-traffic Apple blogs and bring to you more local content and offers. You readers have also been very helpful and provided lots of great suggestions in our ongoing survey, and I’ll be sure to implement some of them soon.

Speaking of our survey, I want to give a shout out to Ngim Meng Fai from Subang. He was the first who won the Starbucks gift certificate by referring his friends to the survey. Since Meng Fai there have a been a couple more but I haven’t had the time to check the latest survey responses. If you still haven’t taken the survey, what are you waiting for? Also, I’m looking for bloggers and writers who may be interested in writing for myMacBUZZ. Bloggers based in Malaysia and Singapore are welcome to apply.
