A quick follow up to the hoax about the iPhone being delayed. I was in the gym this morning when I saw the iPhone on CNN. Turns out that the FCC has approved the iPhone for sale. This means that it should hit US stores real soon and there’s no way that the hoax is true. The confirmation also helped push up Apple’s stock to $109.70 yesterday. What a roller-coaster ride it’s been for the stock eh?

I’m really expecting the iPhone to be a hit. My brother who’s not an Apple fan by any stretch was totally blown away when he saw Steve Jobs demonstrating it at Macworld, and I think that’s indicative of what a lot of people will feel when they see their friends using it. Plus, I’m still suspecting that Steve Jobs has one more thing about the iPhone to pull out of his hat for us when the iPhone launches. Sigh When is it going to be available here…
