GWP results and top Mac posts
Earlier this week I wrote Top 5 objective tips for Mac switchers as part of ProBlogger’s latest Group Writing Project. After 5 days and 893 entries, Darren has announced the winning entry of the contest. Nancy Callahan walks away with USD1001 for her entry Baby names from Video Games. Congrats Nancy!
Although myMacBUZZ didn’t win, I’m really glad to have participated because I’ve come across some really great Mac sites and got quite a lot of new visitors to the site. I’d like to give a shoutout to the first time visitors that found this blog through ProBlogger. I’ve also compiled a list of the top Mac-related entries for the Group Writing Project:
- You’re Pointing Out Vista’s Flaws. Cancel or Allow?
- Top 5 OS X Command Line Utilities For Administrators
- Top 5 AppleScript Productivity Hacks for WordPress Bloggers and Podcasters
- 5 Mac apps for bloggers
- Top 5 OS X Dashboard Widgets for Bloggers
- 5 Steps to Pimp Your Mac Desktop
- Top Five Ways to Turbo Boost you Mac for Free
I’ve also enjoyed these other posts that are not Mac-related, but their content or headlines really caught my attention and thought that these deserved a mention.
- 5 Ways To Capture Attention Like A CEO
- Top 5 Things I’ve Discovered My Mom Lied About
- top 5 italian words you really don’t want to mispronounce

Thanks so much for the mention
Hi blogjunkie,
Thanks for the nod to “Top 5 Hottest Blogger Fantasies”!
What’s interesting is out of the 893 entries to the Problogger writing project, many of the titles that you mention caught your eye also caught mine too. I thought “5 Itlalian words you really don’t want to mispronounce” was quite clever and of course the “5 Superhuman powers I would love to have” was also.
I’m looking forward to the next group writing project too
