Creative is at it again–trying to kill the iPod that is. This time it looks like they’re aiming slightly lower with their latest “iPod killer”. Introducing the Creative Zen Stone.

Or maybe I should say “iPod ripoff”.

Admittedly, it’s not like one of the iPod knock-offs that mimic iPods to every design detail, but it still stinks off a distinct lack of design innovation from Creative. I’m frankly surprised that Creative didn’t include a built-in clip like the shuffle.

I wonder how it’s navigation works and how similar it is to an iPod shuffle. Because if it’s the same, Apple may have a chance to return the favour to the Singapore-based company and sue them for copying their navigation system.
