Apple+Adobe bundle discount [updated]
myMacBUZZ has learnt that local Apple resellers and Adobe are offering discounts on Mac hardware when purchased together with any Adobe Creative Suite 3 collection for a limited time.
Customers will get a discount of 8% on Mac Pros, MacBook Pros and iMacs when pairing the hardware together with an Adobe CS3 bundle. This means you get to save up to RM1,270 if you’re buying the very top of the line Mac Pro. However, the Adobe bundles aren’t free and will cost you from RM4,000 to RM10,000 depending on whether you buy the Standard or Premium editions of their Design, Web, Production or Master collections. Compare the different editions.
Adobe recently launched its Creative Suite 3 product line. The CS3 applications are now Universal and can run natively on Intel Macs. This promotion looks like an incentive from Apple and Adobe to get pro users who are still sticking to their PowerMac G5s to upgrade to the new systems.
This promotion is on only for a limited time from 23rd to 29th April 2007. Contact your local Apple reseller for more information.
Update: I’ve received some clarifications about this promotion. Apparently this promotion is available only at participating Apple resellers. The two resellers that I know for sure have this promo are Mac City and machines. Be sure to check before plunking down your cash. If you’ve got more details, please leave them in the comments.
