Here are some Apple TV news bites collected this past week:

• Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster suspects that iTunes is a “Trojan horse media center” that will give Apple a sizable early lead in the digital living room. More on Munster’s thoughts at MacNN.

• Could Apple be secretly working with Miglia in the wake of the latter losing its Elgato EyeTV license, asks The Apple Blog. Perhaps Miglia will help develop new DVR features for the Apple TV.

• Also, QuickTime Pro 7.1.5 which was released last week now includes an ‘Export to Apple TV’ option. This means that QT Pro can now export to HD resolutions up to 1280×720, 24fps (source). Hmm.. could HD content be coming to the iTunes Store soon??

I wonder if the Apple TV will work here in Malaysia if we purchase one from overseas and we already have an iTunes account.
