Why sometimes the web looks wonky on a Mac

There is a nice write up on why sometimes photos or pictures looks wonky on your Mac over at SmugMug’s blog, SmugBlog. Most don’t notice the different, if I haven’t read the blog entry, I didn’t notice it either.

Macs and PCs represent color differently. You can check out the wonkiness over at the page with your Safari. All image looks the same in FireFox on Mac, but are different on PC.

There is a fix for those who bothered, one involving a expensive monitor calibration device, and another one involve some setting and getting the right profile. Read up.
