Download of the day: Uno

This inconsistency in Mac OSX interface is starting to get to me. I’m talking about how some applications have the brushed metal look and others don’t. Do you guys get annoyed with this to?
Today download of the day will fix this. Uno, for a better, prettier, unified OSX GUI. Uno is a skin for your Aqua GUI that makes all the elements look and feel as one.
With Uno, you can select to ‘skin’ Aqua windows, metal windows, dashboard and iTunes.
If you are like me, starting to dislike the brushed metal windows, give Uno a try.

I like the Metal UI. You can move the window around by clicking and dragging on any metal part of the window. But according to Apple, there is logic in this madness. The Metal UI is for apps that interface with hardware, and the normal Aqua UI for apps that don’t.
Ah I see, there is some logic for the UI inconsistency.
