Save the date Apple WWDC2007

Reported earlier in January on myMacBUZZ, WWDC2007 will be around June. Today I receive in my inbox an email that confirms the date for Apple’s World Wide Developer conference. I’m pretty sure most of you had already receive a similar email.

Unlike the MacWorld which is more like a trade show, the Apple World Wide Developer Conference are more focus on the developer community and the development side of things. In the past WWDC has been a launch pad for new operating systems, new pro apps and new Macs.

Judging by the graphics copy from the email, the OSX Leopard’s Time Machine interface, I’m pretty sure that WWDC2007 will be a Leopard affair. Apple might launch Leopard on June. The real ‘Wow‘ starts in June. If Leopard were to release it earlier what would Steve show us in his keynote then?

Apple did promise the iPhone to be release in U.S. somewhere around June, you might just be looking at it’s launch date.

To start the rumor wheel rolling, I’ll start out with this rumor that Apple will be releasing iPhone development kit for building apps for iPhone to developer, but all apps must be approve by Apple and apps ate sold at the iTunes Store. If that does happen, it is bad news for us who doesn’t have access to the iTunes Store.

What are your WWDC wishlist and prediction?
