Andrew from machines dropped me a line to tell me that the newly-updated MacBook Pros are now RM200 cheaper than the old ones. Here’s how the prices look like:

• 15.4â€? 2.33 GHz RM9,699
• 17â€? 2.33GHz RM10,799

The MacBook Pro have got a processor bump - the 15-inch models now feature processors running at 2.16GHz and 2.33GHz, compared to 2GHz and 2.16GHz in the old Core Duo systems. The 17-inch MacBook Pro now runs at 2.33GHz, up from 2.16GHz. The MacBook Pro now also includes twice the standard RAM and higher capacity hard drives, as well as FireWire 800 ports.

So if you were considering the MacBook Pros, and with Christmas just around the corner, they’re looking more attractive than ever. Drool
