This iMac is just too cool. I’m going to do the same when I get mine.

In more backlighting news, Macbook Pro and Powerbook users love their backlit keyboards. Lab Tick is a cool app that lets you control the backlight from the menu bar. Since I don’t have a MBP or PB, it’d be great if someone could try it out and send me a review. Via iUseThis.com.

iLounge confirms Apple “Showtime” special event on 12 September. Showtime? Could it be the iTunes Movie Store? Perhaps the oft-rumoured video iPod to go along? What do you think? BitRocket seems like a great P2P app. Too bad that the developer is a thief! Apparently he used source code from the open source Transmission.app without attribution as required by Transmission’s MIT license. Plus the developer also has a history of stealing code. TUAW is calling for a boycott. Stealing is baaad!
