Safari Stickler

Readers have been reporting that the layout of this blog is weird under Safari. Investigating further, I think I’ve found the cause of the problem.

Apparently Apple has made some changes to Safari in their Mac OS X 10.4.7 update. I have not updated OS X yet (I like to make a full backup before an update, but unfortunately my backup drive needs replacement) and so did not notice the broken layout. Hehe, guess it’s about time I update too :P

Nevertheless, I would appreciate it if you could help me confirm the cause of the problem. The broken layouts seem to affect those who are running Safari version 2.0.4 (419.3). If you’re seeing a broken layout, please check your version of Safari by clicking Safari on the File menu, and then choosing About Safari. Post your findings in the comments please.

Thanks to liewcf and Jibone for the heads up. I’ll work on the problem later tonight..
